Next week, I’ll be traveling to Gothenburg Sweden to participate in VivaSounds Festival & Conference. You’ll find me at The Abyss on Saturday December 4th at 14:00 weighing in on the topic of transformation in metal on the “Rainbow In The Dark” panel with Maja Sofic (The Abyss), and Richard Jones (Sheltered Life PR). In Person Fundraiser For Sam!

On Wednesday December 15, Metropolitan Brewing, Scorched Tundra and Bryn Gleason will be hosting an in-person fundraiser and birthday celebration to help our friend Sam Cangelosi stay cancer free. There will be raffles featuring artists and local businesses; sweets from Pie Pie My Darling and tacos from Arigato Market; metal inspired bingo and karaoke hosted by Murph from Cafe Mustache. Of course, lots of beer! The event is family and dog friendly. Proof of vaccination is required for entry. We’ll kick the event off at 5pm, and you can find more info HERE.

Merchandise Shop Update + Local Pick Up Options

Zombiekrig‘s Levande Efter Döden Live Gatefold Double LP is now for sale in extremely limited quantities on the webshop. This legendary Swedish thrash band played an early role in the development and ideation of Scorched Tundra (you’ll recognize vocalist Axel Widén’s artwork on the first ten ST posters and merch). This Live, glossy, Gatefold Double LP was recorded at Scorched Tundra II (2012) in Gothenburg Sweden, the band’s last show before a 5-year hiatus. This piece of Scorched Tundra history is highly limited and only available on our webshop.

I’ve reactivated the Local Pick Up option on our Webstore for those of you looking to purchase Scorched Tundra Merch and vinyl without paying the shipping fees. You’ll be able to pick up the merchandise in Gothenburg on 12/4 at The Abyss or on 12/15 at Metropolitan Brewing. Select the appropriate local pick up option at check out.*
