A few additional points about Night 2 and 3:

Rezn and Thou are co-headliners on Night 2 – festival debuts for both bands. Nashville-based Friendship Commanders’ messages of social inclusion and the importance of elevating voices fighting for social justice will continue to be a part of the conversation ST advocates through its curatorial choices.

With Huntsmen opening the evening, this night exemplifies ST’s commitment to not only highlighting local, regional and national talent on the same stage but also dynamic pairing – each night’s billing intentionally highlights each group’s unique sonic characteristics.

MizmorThou will perform their collaboration album Myopia – a North America exclusive – to close Night 3. Myopia was written and recorded in secret, released in April via Gilead Media. Prior to, Mizmor will perform a set featuring material from its 2019 critically acclaimed LP Cairn. This is Mizmor‘s first performance in Chicago. Local thrash metal super group Ready for Death open the evening with material from their upcoming debut LP and, Heather Gabel (Hide) will DJ throughout the evening.

Beyond music there’s a number of special ST collaborations occurring around town to enjoy. We’ll have limited edition Scorched Tundra t-shirts available starting Night 1, along with shirts from Tundra’s past.

Metropolitan Brewing‘s “Humbucker” Dortmunder-style lager will be served at the festival. It has been brewed in collaboration with Scorched Tundra on a year round basis since 2020.

Dark Matter has canned a special cask conditioned cold brew coffee to mark the occasion of ST XII. The directly sourced beans are cask conditioned with Few Whiskey prior to roasting. It is currently available DM locations, select retailers and at the festival (starting 9/1, while supplies last).

Kuma’s Corner Fulton Market will run the Scorched Tundra burger from 9/1 (while supplies last). Ticket holders will receive 15% off their individual tab when showing their ticket stub. Get the full experience by enjoying a glass of Humbucker, which will also be on tap.
